Delete your TradeStaq account
TradeStaq is provided by The Staq Technologies Ltd. You can ask us to delete your account and the data linked to it at any time. We complete deletion within 30 days of your request.
How to request deletion
In the TradeStaq app (fastest)
Open the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account, and confirm. You can cancel the request from the same screen until it is completed.
By email
Email privacy@tradestaq.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm it is you before we act.
Before the account is deleted we help you wind it down: open live positions are closed or handed back to you on your exchange, running bots are stopped, any wallet balance is paid out, and paid subscriptions are cancelled so you are not billed again. If you subscribed through the App Store, cancel it in your Apple ID settings, as only Apple can cancel those.
Delete some of your data without deleting your account
You can remove these yourself at any time, and they are deleted straight away:
Exchange connections and their API keys: in the app, Settings → Exchanges, then remove the exchange
Bots: open the bot, then Delete (stop it first; positions it opened stay on your exchange)
AI (FORGE) conversations: in the AI Builder on the web dashboard, delete the conversation
Strategies and backtests: from Strategies on the web dashboard
For anything else, email privacy@tradestaq.com and tell us what to delete. Financial records listed under “What we keep” below can't be deleted early.
What is deleted
Your profile: name, email address, trader alias, address and country
Sign-in methods: password, Google and Apple sign-in links, passkeys, 2-step verification secrets and backup codes
Exchange connections, including the API keys and secrets you gave us
Your bots, their logs and your copy-trading listing (people copying you are notified and their copying stops)
Private strategies, backtests, Strategy Lab runs, AI (FORGE) conversations and uploaded images, trade journals, shared chart links
Notification settings, push notification tokens and your Telegram link
Leaderboard entries and your referral code
Also revoke the API keys you created for TradeStaq on each exchange. We delete our copy, but only the exchange can disable the key itself.
What is anonymised
Strategies other people use (shared with them, bought, forked, or running in their bots) keep working for those people, no longer linked to you. Marketplace listings are taken down
Reviews you wrote stay, shown as “Deleted user”
What we keep, and for how long
Tax, accounting and anti-money-laundering laws require us to keep financial records. We keep the following for 6 years after your account is deleted, linked only to an anonymous account number (not your name or email), and then delete them:
Payments, subscriptions and invoices
Wallet transactions, withdrawals and payouts (your bank, PayPal and crypto payout details are deleted)
Your trade history and referral rewards
Your account cannot be restored once deletion is completed.
