Go beyond basic prompts with image analysis, real market data, strategy conversion, and conversation management.

Image Upload

Upload chart screenshots directly into the AI Builder conversation for visual analysis. The AI can interpret candlestick patterns, support and resistance levels, indicator readings, and chart formations from your images.

Supported Formats

Maximum file size: 4MB per image.

How to Use

1. Click the image upload button in the AI Builder chat input
2. Select a chart screenshot from your device
3. Add a text prompt describing what you want the AI to do with the image
4. The AI analyzes the chart and responds with insights or a strategy

Example Prompts

• "Analyze this chart pattern and identify the trend direction"
• "Create a strategy that would trade this setup"
• "What indicators would work best for this price action?"
• "Identify the support and resistance levels on this chart"

Candle Data Attachment

Attach real market data to your conversation so the AI can analyze actual price action rather than working from descriptions alone. This gives the AI concrete numbers to reference when building or refining a strategy.

How to Use

1. Click the candle data button in the AI Builder chat input
2. Select an exchange from your connected accounts
3. Choose a trading symbol (e.g., BTC/USDT)
4. Select a timeframe (e.g., 1h, 4h, 1d)
5. The platform fetches recent candles and attaches them to your message
6. Ask the AI to analyze the data or build a strategy around it

What the AI Receives

The attached candle data includes open, high, low, close, and volume (OHLCV) values for recent periods on the selected timeframe. The AI can use this data to:

• Identify trends, ranges, and volatility patterns
• Spot specific candlestick formations
• Suggest indicator parameters tuned to the actual price action
• Build strategies that account for current market behavior

Strategy Conversion

Already have a working strategy on another platform? The AI Builder can convert it into TradeStaq format so you can run it on TradeStaq without rewriting from scratch.

Conversion Process

1. Paste your source code into the AI Builder chat along with a prompt like "Convert this Pine Script strategy to TradeStaq format"
2. AI analyzes the logic and maps indicators, conditions, and trade execution to TradeStaq equivalents
3. Review the output in the strategy editor panel
4. Test and refine by asking follow-up questions or running a backtest

Tips for Better Conversions

• Include the complete source code, not just snippets
• Mention any specific parameters or settings you want preserved
• Tell the AI which indicators are most important to the strategy
• After conversion, backtest the TradeStaq version to verify it behaves as expected

Note: Automated conversion is a starting point. Complex strategies with platform-specific features may need manual adjustments. Always backtest the converted strategy before deploying it live.

Conversation Management

The AI Builder preserves your conversation history so you can return to previous sessions and pick up where you left off.

History Sidebar

The conversation history sidebar displays all your past AI Builder sessions. Each entry shows a summary of the conversation topic.

Key Features

Best Practices

• Start a new conversation for each distinct strategy idea to keep context focused
• Use descriptive first messages so conversations are easy to identify in the sidebar
• Delete test or experimental conversations once you have saved the strategy you need

Saving and Deploying Strategies

Once the AI has generated a strategy you are satisfied with, you can save it and deploy it as a live trading bot.

Saving a Strategy

1. Review the generated code in the strategy editor panel
2. Click Save Strategy
3. Enter a name for your strategy
4. The strategy is saved to your account and appears on your saved strategies page

Deploying as a Bot

1. Navigate to your saved strategies page
2. Select the strategy you want to deploy
3. Click Deploy as Bot to create a new TradeStaq bot
4. Configure bot settings (exchange, symbol, timeframe, risk parameters)
5. Start the bot

Tip: Always backtest a strategy before deploying it with real funds. Use paper trading to validate performance in live market conditions first.

Monthly Prompt Quota

AI Builder prompts are metered based on your subscription tier. Each message you send to the AI counts as one prompt against your monthly quota.

Quota by Tier

A value of -1 in the system represents unlimited prompts for higher tiers.

Checking Your Usage

Your current prompt usage is displayed in the AI Builder interface. The counter shows how many prompts you have used out of your monthly allocation.

Quota Reset

• Quotas reset on a monthly billing cycle
• Unused prompts do not roll over to the next month
• If you reach your limit, you will need to wait for the reset or upgrade your tier

Note: Upgrading your subscription tier takes effect immediately, granting you the higher prompt quota for the remainder of the billing cycle.
