Connecting Crypto.com

This guide walks you through connecting your Crypto.com Exchange account to TradeStaq for automated trading.

Prerequisites

Before connecting Crypto.com:

1. Crypto.com Exchange Account - Create at crypto.com/exchange
2. KYC Verification - Complete identity verification
3. 2FA Enabled - Google Authenticator or similar
4. TradeStaq Account - Sign up at tradestaq.com

Important: Exchange vs App

TradeStaq connects to Crypto.com Exchange, not the Crypto.com App. These are separate platforms:

If you only have the app, you'll need to create an Exchange account at crypto.com/exchange.

Step 1: Access API Management

1. Log in to crypto.com/exchange
2. Click your profile icon in the top right
3. Navigate to API Keys
4. Or go to: Settings → API Keys

Step 2: Create API Key

1. Click Create New API Key
2. Enter a label: TradeStaq Trading Bot
3. Complete 2FA verification
4. Review and confirm

Step 3: Configure Permissions

Required Permissions

Permission Setup

Select only the necessary permissions:

• ✅ Can Read - Account information access
• ✅ Can Trade - Order placement and management

Never enable:

• ❌ Can Withdraw - Keep disabled

Step 4: IP Whitelist (Recommended)

For enhanced security:

1. Enable IP restriction
2. Add TradeStaq server IP addresses
3. Contact TradeStaq support for current IPs if needed

Step 5: Copy Credentials

After creating the API key:

1. API Key - Your public identifier
2. Secret Key - Shown only once

IMPORTANT: Save the Secret Key immediately. It will not be shown again.

Step 6: Connect to TradeStaq

1. Go to TradeStaq Dashboard
2. Click Exchanges → Add Exchange
3. Select Crypto.com from the list
4. Enter your credentials:

5. Click Connect Exchange

Step 7: Verify Connection

After connecting:

1. Check the status shows Active (green indicator)
2. Verify your balance is displayed correctly
3. Test by viewing available trading pairs

Transfer Funds from App

If your funds are in the Crypto.com App:

1. Open Crypto.com Exchange
2. Go to Wallet → Transfer
3. Select From App to Exchange
4. Choose the cryptocurrency
5. Enter amount and confirm
